I never thought about like that but there really is no reason to not be able to purchase from the manufacturer

No.  They are citizens of the country.  We already are forced to worry about them.   The illegal ones shouldn’t be here so we shouldn’t have to worry about them on top of our own citizens crime.   This isn’t too hard to understand.

When my Dad was a teenager, Grandpa put him on the train to Detroit.  When he got there, he went to Ford, picked up Grandpa's new car and drove it home.  This would have been around 1950.
