The Democrat Utopia

"There is a time when the operation of the machine becomes so odious, makes you so sick at heart, that you can’t take part; you can’t even passively take part, and you’ve got to put your bodies upon the gears and upon the wheels, upon the levers, upon all the apparatus, and you’ve got to make it stop. And you’ve got to indicate to the people who run it, to the people who own it, that unless you’re free, the machine will be prevented from working at all!"

Kinda a good point here.   It’s almost like they can’t read the room and cater to the crazies of the party, albeit who tend to be more and more of their side of the aisle.

Just to be clear, Stephen L. Miller, it's the GOP and the MAGA right whose primary concern is illegal aliens and transgender athletes. They elevated them and in some cases wildly exaggerated them into hot button campaign issues that put Dems on the defensive. It was a smart political play, but they weren't major Dem concerns.

Nobody is really paying much attention to Gaza either way, and the national party strongly condemned Hamas, but whatever.

And just for the record, LA is not in crisis. Not even close. Not even legitimate law enforcement is/was concerned with the situation.

The exaggeration is silly and just a little frightening, given the s#!t Trump is posting about it.

Edited to add: that's what my LA friends were telling me yesterday. Apparently things have taken a darker turn today.
