I agree and I agree.

I think what it really shows that is that pretty much everyone is a liar and a hypocrite.  We all know that we just like to imagine that certain people are above all that, but in the end, we are all pretty much the same.

I think once you sort of accept that fact it makes it much easier to understand how all this works.  My guess is that for the most part, Joe is a pretty regular guy that also has done a lot of crappy things, lying, cheating, more lying, and so on...just like pretty much all of us...while we also love to preach how things SHOULD be done.

Definitely awkward for a lot of these folks, but also vaguely amusing that Hunter is being absolved of a crime Second Amendment MAGA lovers believe should be absolved.

What Dad wouldn't do this for his kid?  s#!t we had people say they would not help their kid get a job because of nepotism.  Just stop making s#!t up, clearly you are going to help your kid.  I am glad Joe did it, I wish he could come out now and be like "f#&% yeah I did it, what the f#&%, did you morons really think I was not going to help out my f#&%ing kid?"

And those reporters that acted like Joe was so amazing for saying that stuff, they should either come out and bash him for being a liar (again, we would all help out kid out, so I am fine with it) or they should come out and just say

"Yeah, clearly we knew he was lying but we had to make a big deal about how amazing it was that he pretended that he was not going to do it"

You would have to be INSANE to think he was not going to help his kid.  That is what good parents do.

There have been zero Presidential exits without controversial pardons. 

If any dad could totally bypass the legal system to get their kid out of trouble, they might. But it's still a bad look if you've campaigned on no one being above the law.
