@michaelbruntz: LHP Kyle Kubat won't be available this weekend for Nebraska because of arm soreness, per Coach Darin Erstad.

Sucks but it also gives bummer a chance... I'm anxious to see him throw.. howell too...

Kubat is out for the weekend so who is it that replaced him?

DeLeon on Sunday? Wish he was a lefty with that mid 90's heat. Should be interesting to see how he performs.

 
Am close to the dad of one of the players on the team. Confirmed, for Kubat MRI is negative but soreness in the elbow kept him off of the travel roster. Chestnut traveling in his place. Below are the links to the media coverage:
