Ha! Is that this guy again???
"Gosh, gee, I let the staff know that an 8th grader was good at football and the staff DID NOTHING"
You're obviously missing the point. When we realized Narcisse was special, back in 8th grade, I emailed the coaches (namely Kearney). They told me to send film, so I did. Sent updates throughout the season. When he started for our varsity team as a freshman, I continued to send updates and film. All it would have taken is 5-10 minutes of watching the film to realize the kid is special. I was trying to give Nebraska a head start, yet they did nothing. Then after his freshman year, he want to the LSU camp and MS State camp and was a top performer and gained some exposure. Illinois offered him immediately. So now, in his soph year, he has over 2500 yards passing and 1000 rushing, LSU has seen him play and has offered him, saying he's the best QB in the 2017 class. Nebraska coaches came and saw him when he played Bussey's team. During the game they were saying, "So, tell me about this QB." Well guys, actually I've been telling you about him for over 2 years and you did nothing with it. And that's my point. Other teams, like LSU, do the little things to get the edge. The Nebraska staff sits around and waits for a recruiting service or someone else to make a move. Laugh and tease if you want, but it's things like that that give teams an edge. Nebraska had a golden opportunity because I was pumping Narcisse up about Nebraska, but they dropped the ball. I kept telling him the Nebraska staff would surely be contacting him but they never did, not until halfway through the season this year. Like I said, LSU recruited Zadock (their 2018 QB commit) when he was in 8th grade, so apparently they don't find it funny to have 8th graders mentioned to them. But yeah, keep on laughing.
Oh, and here's my post from a month ago, that nobody wanted to listen to, that I was ridiculed and crucified and banned for:
"I'd be really surprised if Bussey winds up at Nebraska over an SEC school."
Well, whatcha gotta say now? It's not always Sunshine and roses, fellas. Sometimes you need to listen to the truth and read the writing on the wall, even if it's not what you want to hear or read.
