The Fundamental Nebraska Problem With Trying To Do A BIackout

The key to doing any of this sort of stuff is to PLAN AHEAD.  Put it LITERALLY on the CALENDAR the school sends to the season ticket holders.  Print it ON THE TICKETS.  Publicize it up the wazzou.  That's what these other schools do... not try 3 days ahead of time to do something complicated.  That's a recipe for failure.

The data I found has the numbers at Iowa roughly 110,000 and Nebraska at roughly 95,000.  You do realize there are over 1,000,000 more people in the state of Iowa right?

 
I think white shows up on TV better than black and, at least with Penn State, I think more fans wear white hats. When I see blackouts at places like OSU, too many people are wearing scarlet hats.
