Do they really need to get the police involved, wtf would they charge them with? It's about as harmless as a prank can get, and it's still funny. Just give em detention and call it good, they probably knew that would be coming.

I agree if it was done by a student and not an adult cops are not needed, detention would be enough. But the real question is, did anyone show up for the inspection? lol
