The Georgia runoff for the control of the Senate

I posted this in another thread but it belongs here. Trump lawyer (maybe? who knows) Sydney Powell telling Repub voters not to show up for runoff election because it's rigged. Hopefully the Trump election conspiracies end up hurting the Repubs.

It didn't pan out, but one of the theories before the election was that Trump would try to get voters to not vote so Biden's margins would be so ridiculous they would look fake. Is that what Powell is thinking will happen?

With two run-off races pending, the Senate currently sits at 50 R's & 48 D's. If the Democrats win both seats in Georgia, the Senate would be split evenly, 50/50. 

That would give control of the Senate to the Democrats, because Biden won the presidential election. Chuck Schumer would likely become the Senate Majority Leader.

I heard tonight that $600 million was spent in the last 7 weeks in GA election.  What a shame.
