THE most overhype players to sign w/NU

who do you feel is the most or one of the most overhype player or players to sign w/NU?..I'M talking about someone that came in highly ranked but for one reason or another never reach their playing potential..

 
I'd say Keller, as far as recent memory is concerned. Just didn't work out that well, and when Ganz stepped in, it was lights out.

 
Based on hype...all things considered...right now i would have to say Beck or Congdon. They still have time to turn things around at their respective schools but as of NOW i would say those two.

 
The first one that came to my mind right when I read this is Chris Brooks... he's got the size and just the looks of a big time WR, and he just is nothing... whether it is because of his work ethic or just hasn't had the right opportunity he's a extremely disappointing 4*

 
I'm gunna say the biggest flop was Keller! Marlon i thought was a little overrated as the number 2 back in the nation, I like Marlon and everything he is a great receiving back its just i thought that he would be the next heisman winner at Nebraska they way he was talked about.

in his defense, his name alone sets expectations to be high right off the bat.

the only way it could have been worse is if his name was "Run 75yrd for a Touchdown" Collins or "Never Fumble" or "Heisman".

his mother should have name him LaShane or Daunte or Sexmachine. it would have made his life a whole lot easier.
