The Offending Posts Commentary Thread

@teachercd  I mean it's pretty obvious why the "It's ma'am" video ended up in offending posts. But dang, I don't think that guy/gal should ever be surprised to be called a guy. Lipstick, earrings and some fake boobs isn't enough of a clue for that one. If it walks like a duck, talks like duck and looks like a duck, probably shouldn't get so irate when called a duck.
Ha!

I swear I was not trying make fun of that incident in the video...I just thought it was a perfect look for what Putin would have dressed like 25 years ago as Reade!

So.... why did Husker Bohunk respond to a four-year-old post in a conversation he wasn't part of with that anti-cop diatribe?

I don't believe there's anything additional to add unless the call-to-action here is unclear.

Opinions on police reform (and virtually all topics) are welcome on Huskerboard; however, inflammatory rhetoric is not going to be tolerated. There are better ways to share opinions and have conversations.

While I understand why Branno's post was moved, he's not wrong, he's just delivering the message in the wrong way. Hilltop is becoming insufferable.

Everyone wants football to come back. That guy is willing to walk over a heap of dead players, coaches & personnel to have his football.

This is why the claims of open discussion in the P&R forum are a bunch of crap.  @Hilltop has never said anything close to this that I've seen.  I went back several pages and looked at all of his posts and there isn't anything like that.  And he kept trying to say "I'm not saying it isn't a serious disease" but no one listens to that because they're too excited to hear their own argument and scoff at anyone who would dare disagree.

People don't like what he's saying.  So they have to invent a caricature of what he's saying so that they can feel better about their argument against it.  And they they keep repeating it to themselves enough that they're convinced it's really happening, even though it's completely in their head.

And then people come to the defense of the guy claiming other people are fine with people dying instead of the rational position of "hey, I don't really agree with him either but that's a bit over the line."  And now you've taken the caricature to an even bigger joke by going from the "one player die" in the original comment to "a heap."

I can neither confirm nor deny if Hilltop has been mischaracterized, as he has been blocked for weeks now.

I figured that was such over the top hyperbole that it would be obvious I was joking.

The internet can be a weird place.
