2020 was supposed to be the year to just play and improve for this season. It was a lost year and basically house money.

now it seems 2021 is now a season to try and build toward 2022.

 
We lost by one possession and a dozen self inflicting plays that it will overshadow that we just lost to a backup qb in a coaches first game with his new team.

Burn it down.  Let 2022 be a new year.  Like a Phoenix rising.  Sadly, I do not think anyone can look at this opener and say NU is going in the right direction or improving.  I really thought/hoped this would be the coming out game for Frost.  

 
Just focus on the "Special" Teams in this one:
First, the safety on the punt return.

The consistently bad punts.

Two missed PATs.

This staff either can't recruit or can't evaluate special team talent. They certainly don't develop. ST is an afterthought.
