Still don't. How long would it before he has "medical" issues and steps away from coaching again? How long before he gets in some other scandal?

At this point who cares?  It's not like we can get any worse.  This team only knows how to lose and they do it way too well.  We need a proven winner or NU football becomes Kansas.

Those timeouts would have only served to give OU a play or two before half. Our offense hadn't moved the ball since the opening drive. GO to the locker room, get the ball to start the half and maybe change everything up...need to protect Thompson though, he's getting murdered

I would argue that they're not. They have quit, and this is the softest I have ever seen them. They are probably going to cry in the locker room.

Just pointing out the obvious truth. Every coach we get this program gets worse and worse. At some point maybe the real people in charge need to be held accountable instead if always blaming the coach. At this point who would want to coach here? Seriously??

Time to burn it down. Turn over the keys to someone relevant in the last 10 years. I know OU is good but I didn’t see this blowout by halftime. Losing culture breeds losers. I’d go for Urban.

For those against Urb how worse can it get?  Yes he may be short term but we need to resuscitate this dead patient. I’d give him a 4 year deal with big money. Say he leaves early, so be it, he probably has us back to .500 and has brought in players and coaches that would go beyond his tenure.

I think the issue is people are mistaken that this is academic program football.  This is semi professional football.  When there is the kind of money associated with a football program like Nebraska or big ten in general, players making money that is semi pro. Character or whatever of the coach isn’t as paramount as winning.  

Exactly... and way too many people in Nebraska don't get that. This is cutthroat, billion-$ business. All that matters is winning and profits.
