The "Outrageously Idiotic Past the Point of Comprehension" Statements Thread

"People don't understand we're at the stadium from 7 in the morning to 9:30 at night. They have no idea," Bell said. "They see us play on Saturday and score a touchdown and how much fun we have. That looks fun. Yeah, that's fun except I've been training the last nine months to do it."
I have wonderful news for you Kenny, soon you won't have to do that much longer.

Can this kid graduate already? Geez. I hope his nonsense isn't contagious. This crap needs to leave this team when he leaves.

We don't have time to fool with a player that just isn't very good at a crucial position. We need championships, and need them now. He's had his shot, it's time to get off the pot.

Those that think that TA needs more time need be more realistic and "lower their expectations" for this season.
So let's give up on a quarterback who was thrown in for half a season, who wasn't fully healthy and was only a freshman because he's had his chance already? What a f'ing idiot.

That's what happens when you frequent Iowa boards. Your brain cells die.

I don't buy the crap that "it's just an old basketball injury." No, it's a current injury, no matter the cause of it. If it flares up with barely an contact, then it's a problem. My gut instinct is that we won't see the real RG until the playoffs (like that?). In the period between us winning the Conference and the playoffs, he'll finally heal. I've never understood football coaches who rush players back, especially when the D was great without him.

Armstrong is 8-1 as a starter. That's the only stat that matters and it's better than anything TM put up.
I'm sure you know TM started 9-1, right?
You just made my point. He put up great stats, and, yes, started 9-1, but OHHHHHH that one loss was brutally painful. He never recovered after his 9-1 start. Was an average QB with no legs after year one.
He lost me.

Is he saying that Tommy is going to be the same if we win next week and he is 9-1 as a starter?
