It will be interesting to see if other news orgs spring to Acosta's defense, as they typically do when someone from a major news network has their access revoked or threatened. 

I'm more interested in whether he's using this as cover to distract from the fact he's trying to hatchet the Mueller investigation. Something big has to be going down for Trump to do something this drastic.
