While they control the senate, they needed all 53 Republicans and 7 Democrats to vote yes. They received 1 Democrat yes but 2 Republicans voted no.

My one hope, when Trump was elected, was that America would see how important it is to become informed and have rational discussions. I didn't expect so many normal people "double down" on stupid.....

I'd just like to point out that the GOP bill that failed really demonstrates their ineptitude quite nicely. Their plan was to pass it to put pressure on Pelosi and the House Dems to fund the wall.
They got 50 votes. Lol.
What the hell happened to America First? We've got people over here that are literally relying on charity and goodwill for FOOD and are worried about getting evicted, but we can afford to send $20M to Venezuela?!?!
