I honestly couldnt agree more. Nebraska is looking to make a statement with this hire, to show there not f'ing around anymore. This is what they do, you want to show your relevant this is what you do. Make a hire that the whole frigging college world goes, what the f#*k just happened. Something that would not only would make nebraska stand out but people looking in the big 10 going wow theyve got some balls in there. To me with a name like that to bring in the people he could, that is a SPLASH hire. That is a statement nebraska needs to make. Frost is just frosting on the Tressel cake. This is what needs to happen, otherwise there is no point because anyone else who comes here will more than likely fail.

JT is the only realistic splash hire. Any of the other names regardless of merit will not create a buzz. This is assuming the Harbaugh stuff is nonsense

This was brought up on XM college game day with Packer and Hawkins this afternoon. Tressel as head coach, and both acted like it had never crossed their minds, totally caught off guard, both thought it was a great idea. No mention of Frost with JT. This might not be as far around the country as we seem to think.

They were just talking about this on ESPN. Harbaugh is expected to stay in the NFL and stay in the Bay Area. It just so happens the Oakland Raiders need a coach and don't have the highest of expectations. That's the scuttlebutt any way.
Lines have moved a little bit today. Scott frost and tressle switched spots but seems like they are still the favorite
