From what I've been told from my boss who played and worked with some players from the 80's they said to look for half time at the Creighton v Lincoln game for the announcement. He also mentioned that big money boosters are on board with Tressel/Frost.

I concur with your sentiment. His agent said he hasnt been contacted "by Nebraska". More importantly there was no statement made toward interest one way or the other. Is Tressel interested or not? I would think if he wasnt interested that would be made abundantly clear.

If they have no clue who he will hire, how can they say for certain Jim Tressel isnt the hire.

Im honestly starting to think the rest of the CFB world is getting nervous that we will make a big hire and put everyone on notice. Just imagine the ease for us to get into the playoff if we play sound football. The B1G west is arguably worse than the old B1G North, our road couldnt be easier at this point. I think so. Maybe not initially but I think once the initial announcement fades and people start to realize the staff being pieced together I think Nebraska fans can unite behind staff

This would definitely be ideal in my opinion. Tressel would be a good mentor for Frost and teach him the ways of the B1G and also teach him the recruiting ropes as well.

I don't see how SE fires Pelini to hire a second year offensive coordinator (nothing against Scott Frost...he's a bad a$$). But significantly less qualified to be head coach at Nebraska than Pelini when hired.

I'm over here on the west coast, and all I keep hearing is Scott Frost...oregon peeps are paranoid he is getting the gig and isn't going to have his entire focus on winning the nat champ.
