I'm no fan of silent Shawn of Lincoln. I do believe there is something to socks source though. Your right. Either Shawn is sticking his head in the sand or he is doing things very close to the vest right now. With vest bein the optional word. I have zero info. No sources just a gut feeling that Tressell is a big enough name who is in need of redemption. If they paired him with Frost the masses who hate Tressell will love frost and the people who don't want frost as a hc due to no experience would have a true hc to teach him. I think it is an off chance but interesting.

 
The only thing I gleaned from today's rumor stew is that everyone who posts them fundamentally disagrees with everyone else, and there is a blanket of silence over the press and the administration. Doesn't inspire much confidence in any predictions.

Bo gets angry and fierce. Harbaugh basically looks for his mom to start complaining. It's just as bad as Bo and then the added negative of seeming like a sissy tantrum vs. a tirade. Everything about him just screams douche and there's a reason that San Francisco doesn't want him and the reason isn't because he's not a good coach. When's the last time you saw a coach with his resume forced out?

What if....

SE put out feelers to gauge interest and it hasn't gone so well. Maybe SE wants to fire Bo, but can't....

Just a thought....

I would hope up and comers at smaller schools would highly consider coaching at Neb, i.e. McElwain.

 
See you don't keep your ugly girlfriend because you don't know if any other girl will date you. You take the chance. Honestly at this point if it comes down to keeping Bo or hiring Frost, give frost a shot

I don't buy it. We have better options available. I am positive Frost would come here. And if we pay enough, I'm sure we can entice a few bigger names. If Eichorst doesn't make a move, I'm blaming him.

This is false. Regular season isn't even completed yet. People say some dumb stuff on Twitter and it gets posted as rumor on message boards.

I think the majority (like close to 70 or 80 percent) of us would take McElwain over Bo at this point.
The really crappy thing if you're right is then we're stuck with Bo who will continue to damage our national reputation which will in turn make it harder to attract a quality coach. This is a vicious cycle.

 
I would guess that at the very least...Bo's status as Head Coach is in limbo right now.

If the intent is to keep him...then for recruiting purposes a statement of support should have been issued

Recruits don't need a press release. And Bussey reaffirmed his commitment after the Wisconsin loss.
