Its gotta be summer time. Kid in the background has his baseball uniform on and a live baseball or softball game on the tv. Not to mention Bo looks burned.... or mad that hes getting his picture taken....darn media

This seems similar to how he hired Larranga at Miami. SE was hired and extended an offer to Larranga a day after he was hired. It took 9 more days to be official, but seemed more to Larranga not thinking he would get the job and taking some time to think about it.

The assumption was that Eichorst would turn to Milwaukee's Rob Jeter, a connection from the state of Wisconsin. Eichorst did talk to him. But it never got too serious. Suddenly, there was a renewed interest in Larranaga from Eichorst and Miami president Donna Shalala after the AD heard how well Larranaga had interviewed.

"And then by Wednesday [a day after Eichorst had been hired on April 12], I was the No. 1 candidate and there was an offer,'' Larranaga said.

The official hire of Larranaga came 11 days after he first interviewed in Boston.

 
Well, I have come to the realization that my (work) production this week is right on par with the whole NCAA tournament of March Madness. Can we call this December Madness? I might get into the dating service business, for sock lovers. How does this look?

I concur...Throw in M. Roses mom's tweets about Tressel being the next HC...etc...too much smoke to not mean something...Tressel has a role in all of this.

The presser thing was a wisecrack. I have nothing to back that up. But with the vegas bet coming down and now omaha news and sean callahan openly speculating flights and whos on em, heh, there very well could be one tommorrow.

One more dot could be Jim Heacock, who was Tressel's DC. He stayed on with OSU when Meyer was first hired, but then took a sabbatical from coaching. It looked like they had it worked out to bring him back in, but don't think it ever happened. Why not take the job? Is he waiting for JT to land?

Peeps... it wasn't a tweet. It wasn't Instagram. M. Roses' mom posted on her Facebook timeline, not too long after the firing of Pelini. She mentioned not being happy about Pelini being fired, the way the players were informed, and then she suggested that Tressel was being hired. I'm in the midst of confirming if the post is still on her timeline.

 
Possible announcement today? Friend in ticket office says theres an item on today's agenda called "new coach events."

also hearing corroborating reports on Red Sea Scrolls that today's the day. Even though Tressel/Frost is all but dead, rumors continue there as well. So there might be an outside shot still?
