But yes, the UF announcement was a splash in the ocean; ours more of a turd in the punchbowl... Coulda just hired Hoke, at least he knows the B10...

My level of excitement for Husker football has just hit rock bottom.

Well...In all honesty I'd be happier with Bret B. as our HC....F*#@!!!!

Hope this guy can recruit. Ha! After this hire SE is definitely a Whisky guy at heart.

You know its not all about winning. Paul Rhodes is a great guy, ive meet him tons of times because my inlaws are boosters. But that doesnt make him a good coach if he cant develop the talent he has. And thats exactly what we have here. Sorry, this is a bad hire you can slice it any way you want to but were showing this guy the door in 3 years.

Let's hold on min. Yes, I am being optimistic, but the Big Red hasn't officially announced this and Riley never says he is coming as the head coach does he? I am assuming he won't take an OC job, but maybe he was going to get fired at OSU.

 
Slim Shady mentioned somethng about seeing the staff of the next coach would get us excited. Not giving up on Frost as OC yet as it would salvage this abomination to an extent.

Never even in the depths of Callahan have I had less hope for this program then I do at this moment.

I will still watch the team and cheer them on but financially im definitely stepping back support wise. Granted my measely 500 bucks a year doesnt mean sh#t to the program but its the only tangible way I can express any discontent.
