That sounds pretty unlikely to happen Knapp. There are 1.882 million people who live in Nebraska. Lets say 30 new players a year played for OS since the 80s That gives us 35 (years) * 30 (players) or 1,050 possible players. So from a purely numbers perspective that would be .0005% chance (or roughly 1/2000 odds). That's not even accounting for odds of moving, knowing if OP lives in Nebraska, the odds of this guy bringing it up in conversation, etc.

Actually, that "crap" of being the "Greatest Fans" died in its sleep during halftime of the 2011 Ohio State game. I'm just trying to bury it because it is starting to smell bad.

My bad. I was being sarcastic about the "almost 5-0" and "close to a new dynasty" but now I realize other people have been saying the same thing with a straight face.

While we're getting rid of the "greatest fans" label, can we also lay the most "knowledgeable fans" label to bed as well? Considering the names some fans have thrown around who should have been hired instead of Riley, I don't think we're knowledgeable at all.

Why even move or salvage these posts? As soon as you remove them from the original discussion they are as useless as tits on a boar. Might as well just delete them. Or better yet, lock up the stupid f'ing threads that precipitate the understandable backlash.

Because we need another thread for a few posters to continue throwing their Riley isn't good enough hissy fit...
