In this thread we'll compile the unwritten Rules of HuskerBoard. Stuff we all know to do, think or feel - or not to do, think or feel - but it isn't really in the rules.
#1 Don't mess with the Husker Prayer thread
#2 When in doubt, the other guy is always wrong
#3 Post count & Rep points are irrelevant to right & wrong
#4 Fuɔk Texas
#5 What happens in the game commentary thread stays in the game commentary thread
#6 Oklahoma was our only true rival, and even then it's iffy
#7 Polls are fun
#8 Nothing beats a good Vs. thread
#9 TuffTiger is the best poster of all time
#10 Don't post politics crap in the Status Updates
#11 The recruit we lost is better than anyone we signed
#12 Every recruit we sign is underrated
#13 Think before you post after a tough loss
#14 Never trust that sock puppet guy because he's wrong 100% of the time
#15 Don't try to fight Moiraine
#16 __________is the best coach, he just needs time and resources.
#17 __________ is the worst coach, doesn't matter about the time or resources
#18 ______ backup is better than ______ starter and should be playing over them (especially pertinent at the QB position)
#19 The best posts are always tagged with "Shawn Watson"
#20 The people who complain the most after losses or close wins are rarely seen during the offseason or after big wins
#21 No matter the situation, teachercd will always claim someone is offended
#22 Often the most trivial part of your post will be targeted, turned into a straw man, made hyperbolic and then you're the bad guy because of it.
#23 Every topic will eventually lead to someone discussing Bo Pelini.
#24 The recruit that just de-committed sucks and we didn't need him anyways because the guy ranked way below him is better
#25 All offensive coordinators should call plays that work, and when plays don't work it's always a bad call
#26 All new members are either Flu or Cornographic until proven otherwise
#27 If you haven't been nominated to the douchebag hall of fame, you aren't trying hard enough
...
#39 Any honest discussion of ketchup must occur in the shed
El Diaco said the above rule is #39, so we have to get at least 38 more. What are your unwritten rules?
