This is the place to list reasons for warnings so we can alter the current warning system that was implemented with the board software upgrade to version 3.4.6. Post any categories you think we need. I'll start with these:

1. Trolling

2. Flaming

3. Personal Attack

4. Posting Obscene or Pornographic Pictures, Links or other Items

5. Threatening a member

6. Posting copyright material

7. Spamming

8. Posting racist comments or materials

Okay, I've modified the Warning options to the 8 listed above. The downside is that it may be possible that some warnings previously given out may not match the new list, but that's not really a big deal, I suppose.

 
Could we get an option in the drop-down menu of offenses that says "Other" or "remove warning" or something like that?

Also, in the drop-down list, "Flaming" has two m's "Flamming."

 
The only way to remove warnings is through the Admin Control Panel, using the Warn Logs. Stupid, I know. But if you want, let's set up a pinned thread here where everyone can submit a request to amend/remove warnings. Please provide specific information - member, date warned, type of warning, etc. The more info, the easier it will be to locate the warning so it can be altered.

EDIT: Sorry, the above is incorrect. There is also no free modification for creating the functionality.

Two things to add to the list:

  • Sockpuppet, or something similar, that shows we know it's a duplicate account.
  • Conduct Detrimental to HuskerBoard, or something similar, basically something that doesn't fall under any of the above specific categories.
