The wifi discussion thread

Hedley told me about a dream he had with him and walksalone in it. Cliffs notes version below.

He's said a lot of stuff that he's gone back on, though. The instant I PM'd him about curtailing his posting he told me he was leaving for HuskerMax. That was 24 hours and at least four status updates ago. For a guy who's done here, he seems to have a hard time finding the exit.

For my part I hope he stays. He just needs to chill out. He'll come around and in a month or two everyone will love him and trade .gifs with him, like walksalone does with Hedley.

I did. I also nuked wifi's status and C N Red's, because they were all about the same thing - wifi's ability to post status updates. I'd really, really appreciate it if we could keep that stuff in here, not out there.

I think, on April 1st, I'm just going to delete every status update until we get back to the statuses that were up on 4/1/12. That would freak everyone out.

Yes it is nice weather and I appreciate the help but at the very least PM before you go and do that.

 
OK, so apparently I'm slow on the uptake. I did a little digging and I'm pretty sure that wifi is a Wisconsin troll.

It makes sense. He's cluttering up the board with nonsense, posting stuff all over the main page and his Status Updates, and he's really, really into spamming all over the recruiting forums, something we get a lot of traffic on. If you were going to passively troll a conference rival's forum, this is just about exactly how you'd do it.

He's posting from Madison, and I've dug deep enough to find out he went to Wiscy (although he started out at Edgewood College in Madison).
