I don't know if this has been posted somewhere else on the board, but here is wifi's opening introduction to Huskermax. My favorite part is saying how HM is "easily the best board out there" but it took him getting booted from 2 or 3 other boards before he found himself over there.
Hello Everyone,
I am a brand new member of Huskermax! I am happy to join the "community." First, please let me introduce myself. I was born and raised in the state of Wisconsin. I work in software sales. I grew up loving Nebraska football. I can remember the days sitting on the chair as a young child watching Nebraska absolutely dominate a game by running the football down the throats of other teams.
Why did I finally decide to join?
- I have spent a few months at various free message boards and also spend time at the paying recruiting services boards. After spending a few months in those environments, I feel that the best "discussion based" forum for Nebraska football is easily Huskermax and I feel it isn't even close. On Huskermax I get the feel that the posters are generally older and more knowledgeable than the other message boards. The tone is also more positive and upbeat - and realistic. Having to pay to post on Huskermax helps keep out the immature trolls, which is something that I greatly enjoy about Huskermax.
Just a few notes so people know how passionate I am and my usual posting style:
- I love to use facts when I am posting. At times that can get people angry, but facts are facts.
- I played DT during my playing days so I know defensive line play.
- I am a passionate follower of recruiting so you will find me in the recruiting forum often.
