This weather sucks

i hear ya...it's been rainy and cloudy here in KC this whole week. And I'm supposed to be going to the lake this weekend!!!!

Well garn, I see you're in Ankeny and I'm in Des Moines so our weather does suck right now. All of the sudden I live in Seattle! Should be in the 80's by now, but noooooooo, it's gotta stay in the 70's and 60's and rain every f-ing day. I hate Iowa....................... <_<

 
BRI.....you can have some of this friggen weather down here in South Florida. Today it was 90 degrees with 100% Humidity. Not the kind of humidity that you get in the mid west. This crap is the kind that looks like you are walking around in a damn sauna. My vest was drenched and that was on my way to roll call!

I'd take it in a hearbeat. Summer's are too damn short around here anymore

I agree, but Guru I know the heat down there is killer and it does suck when your vest gets soaked. It just never dries out during your shift no matter if the air conditioning is going like hell or not. The summers around here are very short and it sucks when it doesn't warm up like it's supposed to.

i have loved the cool weather for the last 2 weeks, now i get to go back to HELL on earth. got an email from the people that i work with in Iraq and it was 125 yesterday

so think about that while you are complaining about the weather being cool

5 more months in Iraq then 9 months in Germany, and I will be able to come back to the states.

can retire soon, just not sure i am ready for that step yet

I'm with you there I think I'm ready but I just keep pushing it back. Its kind of an 'I want all my ducks to be in a row' thing. Not only that but there is the retire and die thing. I just don't know yet.
