They need to just get rid of that Covid year.  I think there are still 2 more seasons of Covid years left?

The Covid thing is crazy.  My son competes against a kid who is a 6th year thrower in hammer.  He is working full time and taking 1 class and is competing. 

My son won't end up using his covid year.  Too many bills to pay and too much life to get on with.

I thought you had to be a full time student to compete in sports?  I seem to remember the athletes at NU have to take 12 hours/semester.

2 things, this is a D-3 school and their rules are a little different.  My son could have heard it wrong.

If you are taking graduate courses, I think it's only 9 hours per semester to be considered full-time.

That is correct. 9 hours for fall and spring semesters and 6 hours for the summer (link).
