Never actually coached for Nebraska. Was a huge Air Raid Guy at Texas Tech in the 00's as a WR coach and then OC. Then coached West Virginia in the 10's and had mixed results over the 7 seasons. Most recently was the Head Coach at Houston for four years where he had one high-caliber season (2021), and three mediocre to bad seasons.Let me expose my ignorance:
I never heard of him.
What's his Husker connection?

Could Jeff Sims start at Arizona State?
"I said to him, listen I’m watching your tape. You play a game, you’re like, holy cow a freak show for 85% of the plays, and these 15% of the plays it’s like you lose your freaking mind. You come here and we're going to calm down those 15% of the plays. We’re going to try and give you some peace of mind in those moments," Dillingham said.
Sims was by all accounts an excellent teammate in difficult circumstances, so I hope he figures out how to turn things around and learns from his mistakes. Please don't let this happen. I really like what Dillingham is doing so far, but I sure hope he doesn't invest too much in Sims.
