Those No Longer With Us

Sevion Morrison in the portal again. Some of these kids just can’t stay put. It might take a couple more years, but we’re going to see some pretty clear evidence that transferring multiple times is about the worst decision you can make. There will be some outliers to this of course, but I don’t think transferring two, three or four times is going to be a recipe for success for 99% of these kids.

The problem is transferring to a “better place” is in the kids DNA nowadays.  
 

My kid (now in HS) plays very competitive youth soccer, and the number of kids (starting at age 9) that hop from one club to another each year trying to find something “better” is crazy.  I love my kid, but no way am I driving him 45-60 minutes across town one way for practice 3-4x a week.
