Those No Longer With Us

Combine reminds me of the early 2000's Crossfit.

Super great at exercising and moving fast.  And with NFL Measurables, GM's are getting wood with their cocktails at happy hour.

Hey Trev, how's it going?

In all seriousness…..  Did we dodge a bullet with Trev leaving on his own?

Probably never know.  Seemed to me at the time he was doing EVERYTHING right.  But after the fact…..?
Hard to determine at this stage. Trev had big aspirations and thought big picture. The stadium revamp might have been a little too aggressive with too big of a price tag, but I do think the department needed that sort of mindset again. Arguably we had been missing that since Byrne left a couple decades ago.

Good point.  Unfortunately it goes down like this.  When you are no  longer "Nebraska" - the fan base quickly dismisses you and says "Bye. Good luck.  We don't need you.  Whatever."  And if you come to Texas then the whole base goes bat-s#!t nuts with crazy-eyes and full of pent-up hate lol.   :dumdum :dumdum :dumdum

Personally, I think Trev would have continued doing a pretty good job as the NU AD for a long time to come.  He loved Nebraska.  And he had a pretty big plate with a lot of stuff going on at the time as well, with not much support or help from the U.  Either way, I liked him and no hard feelings.  He tried his best at NU.
