Thread of Hate

Anyone know the law with radio music in the car? i drove home hammered after the game and i was at a stop light, a cop had a lady pulled over to my right. my windows were down and i had my music pretty loud and the cop walked over like a d!(k. i avoided eye contact until he yelled at me to turn it down. I then did, and he said "do you want me to give you a ticket?" and proceeded to walk back to the other car he had at a stop. i guess im lucky he didnt have me pull over or id be f'd. i had a case of bud light in my passenger seat and im sure i wreaked of booze so im actually quite surprised, anyways what the law with music? some disturbing the peace bullsh#t?
I'm not even kidding, if you need a ride let me know, I will personally drive you or try and get a friend there. Please stop driving messed up though.
+1. I had a friend in college that killed someone while drunk and driving in a construction zone. The part that pissed me off the most is he really showed no remorse for what he did. It's serious business man, get a ride next time.
What kind of trouble did he get in?
I think he was convicted of vehicular manslaughter or something like that. I don't remember the details. He was in jail a couple of years then got his degree after that. Surprisingly enough it didn't impact his life all that much from what I could tell. I just remember him telling me the story and he just kinda acted like it was no big deal.
He may be your friend but he sounds like a real f&%ktard.
Meh, I haven't talked to him but a couple times since I graduated. I don't even know what state he's in.

A text I received from my substitute teacher yesterday while I was gone to a contest with some of my students:

"Sir. Your freshman class is collectively one of the most rude groups I have ever had. They seem to think that they can talk whenever they want to.. Fart or burp whenever they want to. .. Take the newspaper to the bathroom and find it amusing... Nobody worked on the assignment that you gave them.. I don't even know if I want your class on Thursday or Friday. I will discuss it with the principal."

I can't wait for today's class. Those f'ers are gonna feel my wrath.

I hate it that the driver's side window on my truck goes down every time I start the engine. I left the windows cracked one night three weeks ago when it rained. Apparently there is moisture in the window switch shorting it out. WTF?

Ok I wouldn't necessarily say I was hammered. I know my limits and I'm not someone who will drive if I know I can't. If I have any sense of blurred vision or double vision I don't step into a car. I also felt like i would be fine after the game because it's very heavy stop and go traffic. I do not do that on the regular. Hammered was a poor choice of words; how about after drinking a while
I don't want to preach but I do need to say this. And I know a bit about it because I got a dui when I was in college in Lincoln so I had to take some classes dealing with drunk driving.

1- blurred vision or double vision are no standard for impairment. When you hit those you are already WAY past being able to safely drive. Your bac is a lot more indicative than how you "feel" and that is a simple matter of your weight, number of drinks, and time. For me a reasonable standard is 2 beers the first hour and about 1 beer per hour after that. I'm about 250 so I'm guessing that your impairment level is less drinks than that. It doesn't take much alcohol to get to the point where you should not be driving.

2- Just don't so it. It is irresponsible and not worth any of the risks. Your biggest fear is probably getting caught, paying a fine, losing your license, etc. Throw in attorney bills etc. and it is a very expensive proposition but, that is not what you should be concerned about. Think about the innocent person you just killed because you weren't responsible enough to not do it. Look that mother in the face after killing her one year old child. Think how much you would enjoy life living after that or how fun it would be to be a quadripeligic or dead yourself.

I'm 50 years old, luckily never hurt anyone, and haven't driven drunk since the day I got pulled over right in front of memorial stadium. I have not missed out on one thing by choosing to not drive drunk. Get a designated driver, call a friend or taxi, whatever it takes but please don't ruin your or someone elses life over something so risky and unnecessary as driving drunk. Sorry for the speech but your comments indicated that you haven't figured this out yet.

I hate whoever to decided to ruin my vacation/birthday weekend in KC by smashing the window out of my car and stealing all of our luggage. Why can't people earn their own stuff instead of pooping on someone elses property. People f'ing suck sometimes.
