Regular History Channel and Discovery Channel are borderline unwatchable now. I haven't watched much of either in probably 4 or 5 years, beyond getting drunk with my buddy and laughing at Ancient Aliens.

I think the trademark means that you just can't do it for profit. You're not bared from performing the act all together, just profiting from it without the holders consent.

Survivorman is probably the most legit when compared to Man vs. Wild or Dual Survival. Man vs Wild is probably the least "real" when it comes to survival. Most of the stuff Bear demonstrated goes against what is taught during survival training.
