Thread of Hate

I hate it when I present a series of facts and an incredibly logical argument, only to have someone not even read the post(s) yet respond with an emotional and completely idiotic response. I feel like the Aflac duck in that commerical where he tries to argue with Yogi Berra (it's probably 6-7 years old by now).

I hate it when I shoot down someone's logical argument with an emotional and completely idiotic response, and then someone else quotes me with a pony gif.

I hate that it's only Monday, Friday cannot get here soon enough. Took all of Friday off to watch basketball and possibly have a beer....or two.

I hate that I lack the ability to sit and relax. I always seem to HAVE to browse the web on the computer that don't make any difference or benefit in my life or anyone else's. It's pretty frustrating and at times, taxing.

I HATE living in such a republican community. I find it ridiculous that even 14-17 year old kids are COMPLETELY resistant to change. There are not many things more frustrating....

I hear ya. Where are you located?
Northeast Nebraska. I spent a couple years in Missouri going to college and student teaching, and while they are still old-school thinkers, they are much more open to change. Where I'm at now, I'll say things like, "I think that we can do this a little differently/better" and they all act like I'm changing everything that they have ever known. It's frustrating.
