I hate it that the jacka$$ who took our Christmas tree down last year just pulled the bulbs off and lost half the little hook thingies.

I also hate it that that jacka$$ was probably me. Damn drunkard.

Hate all the holiday receptions and parties thrown by acquaintances who make people feel obliged to go. Hate how people at work down understand how asking for RSVPs implies an event isn't mandatory.

Luckily, my shop's office party is in the middle of the day, during business hours (which is kinda lame), but it gets me out of having to see all the big wigs. And thankfully the 5" of snow on Saturday put the kabosh on the wifely unit's x-mas party. Only thing sh**ty about that is, she'll have to wait a week to get her bonus...

For some reason I've always though you worked the late shift at a nuclear plant or something.

yea, I work nights...

I'm not sure they'd want me around nuclear materials though. I work for a company that provides traffic info to radio and tv stations in NYC and the tri state area...
