Thread of Hate

I hate having to sit in a hospital with my three year old son when he is having seizures. Life is unfair sometimes. I will say that my three year old is the toughest SOB that I have ever met though. That kid just keeps getting knocked down and gets right back up every time.

 
I dislike a person I work near. He's above me on the totem pole but works in another section and isn't my boss. He's always wrong about everything but because he's senior and I don't want to rock the boat I end up following him.

The final straw came this past week. Monday he tells me, "ah we have this meeting in this building at 0730 that we all have to be at" so I follow him there and it's just him and me sitting there for an hour and a half. No meeting. Then later that day I know we have to go to a meeting in another place and he says we should car pool, whatever, get in his truck drive over to the building and he wants to stay there for three hours after the meeting.

Frick.

About 15 minutes ago he tells me we have a meeting friggin far off and away and I checked my email, checked my calendar, checked my phone, called my boss and found no evidence of the meeting so I said "You go ahead, I'll stay here.", he was pissed and just stormed off with two of his subordinates in tow. Now I'm just sitting here in my office waiting for them to come in. I know there was no meeting. Friggin idiot.

I hate it that things like that happen to kids. It just seems unfair. I hope and pray that your doctors get to the root of the problem, and heal it.

i was going to complain about my bad morning and the person responsible for my current state of rage, but it seems so small when people have to face real struggles. i wish you the best, sandhillshuskerW.

Yea well he's leaving the organization in a month...and an update, there was a meeting but it wasn't for my section or his. Idiot confirmed.

You and me both. I feel the same way about my boy. I sent you a private message. Hope we can help each other, maybe we learn something from each others experiences with epilepsy in our children. I'd always be willing to listen and offer any help I can. Good luck to you and prayers for your son.

 
Thanks everyone for the kind words about my son. He struggles with Angelman Syndrome and seizures are just something that he "gets" to put up with. He seems to be better now though!

 
F Maytag. Do not ever buy anything from these scam artists. $400 dishwasher is 2 years old, and now dead, Board and computer are both shot, from what appears to be a design flaw (they are being sued in CA for this exact issue) refuse to fix it, and the fix is $550.

"Durable goods" are supposed to F'ing last. Not be DOA after 2 years. I am so sick of corrupt, greedy-a$$ businesses. Anyone who thinks we need fewer regulations is a fool.

the more i eat, the worse i feel. ive been trying to gain a bunch of weight back but instead i get sicker and lose it. when im having a bad stretch i'll eat something and just sh#t it out 4-5 hours later, like nothings been absorbed. pretty rough, pretty disgusting. pretty frustrated. doctor thinks i'm depressed or something...wrong. time for a new doctor i think.
