I believe Krikemeier actually ended-up on an academic scholarship.
Marlowe was an solid pick-up for that particular class. We had a new staff, were coming off a crap-season, and had a couple late spots to fill. Thus a role-player(return specialist) was worth taking. This upcoming class Marlowe wouldn't be somebody we take.
