There is a reason when folks have let me know before just how interested they were in Nebraska before. They don't feel the pressure of letting people know who they favor in places like that and by general trending of what they RT, you can tell which team they're leaning towards. And not to Aspeed, that whole shpeel about how you become a booster once you follow or tweet a recruit is BS. Nowhere does the rule book say anythiing of the sort. If it was a big violation, or really much of anything of an issue at all, you know how many FBS schools would be in trouble? 122.There is no reason to tweet or facebook a recruit. Most of the time, they use those to only get attention.
But but but but they like me and we're the best of friendsThere is no reason to tweet or facebook a recruit. Most of the time, they use those to only get attention.
And if they come to school here we can be best friends and i can hang out with other football players!! It'd be like, so cool. But but but but they like me and we're the best of friendsThere is no reason to tweet or facebook a recruit. Most of the time, they use those to only get attention.
I wish you fully understood how creepy this is.I was enlisted in the Army and did a tour in Afghanistan before I was 19. But I'm young and a social networking junky, so I can relate to the fact that he had a big decision in his life ahead of him and wanted to let him know that husker nation wanted him here, he DM'ed me first though after my first tweet or so and let me know he didn't have many Husker fans as followers. He was bummed by that after visiting and seeing all the fans. Same with Johnny Stanton. He even asked me if I was planning on coming to Nebraska to play. The last tweet I sent him was in frustration of us not ending up in his top six. Michael Rose was another guy who followed me and tweeted me fairly often during his recruitment. It's not weird, it's a younger generation of people who use this outlet as a new means of communication. But thanks for the appreciation Thor, we fight for you to have your opinion.
You know they tweet me first too right? If I just tweeted them constantly and never got responses I could see what you're saying, but these recruits are my age, and we share a same interest in college football, so we talk about it. A lot like us messaging each other here, ya creep.I wish you fully understood how creepy this is.I was enlisted in the Army and did a tour in Afghanistan before I was 19. But you are a corner. :thumbsThink I'm just pissed I'm not a Linebacker.
So let me get this straight, guys that are potential recruits of the football team at Nebraska, randomly tweet you, because...You know they tweet me first too right? If I just tweeted them constantly and never got responses I could see what you're saying, but these recruits are my age, and we share a same interest in college football, so we talk about it. After Fowler dug up the goods, your obsession with Hedley is really starting to come full circle. You two are perfect for each other.I've tweeted them and tell them what I like about Lincoln so they generally just ask what it's like, how hardcore our fans really are (as many of the young kids believe husker fans are all old people that never tweet, they were right for the most part, and who do I like on the team already. Me and Michael Rose talked about how we thought 2013 would be the huskers breakout year a few months after he committed..
