Tommie Frazier, dbag or not - thread

sweet :yeah

I meant him at the 300 sell out game in the bookstore. He wouldn't let me get too close to him to take a pic. Guess he doesn't like a guy that's covered in 'sker tats :D

GBR

No disrespect intended toward you, but who cares..the guy is such a douchebag.
WOW- how nice
Have you ever actually met the dude and talked to him? He's the biggest jacka$$ you've ever met. This isn't just my opinion, tons of others have the same opinion that have met him.
I know plenty of people that would swear I'm a nice guy; and I can probably find a few that have my head on a shooting target/dart board. But final verdict on character yet to be determined by ensanehusker...

I've met Tommie and his family on many occassions and in the times I've met him he's been a normal dude. Only odd statement (IMO) I ever heard him say was that he didn't want to make a scene everywhere he went (grass is always greener on the other side)... maybe this sentiment has something to do with this negative perception. Let's be honest for a second - who wouldn't have an ego while in college, if you were Tommie friggin' Frazier...?

Holy batsh!t Batman. Ok, we get it, he's not the most well liked guy around. After what he did for our team and the way he performed on the field, I could care less if he comes off as sort of a jerk or not. I would trade the most likeable guy status in a heartbeat for a bunch of players that do what he did on the field. Talk about fickle fans. I wonder how well most of you would handle fans constantly in your face, expecting that one special camera op, for the rest of your life. Cut the guy some friggin slack. And the question was what he said not what do you think of him. :wtf

I actually listened to a lot of the show. Like all the old Husker he talked about how things were in the 90's. He spoke about how he noticed that there were no pads popping in pregame and he thought it had a direct correlation with the way the team tackled. He said Robinson was the best player on the field then correct and said offensive player and then said David was the best defensive player on the field.

As an earlier poster suggested he needs to work on his delivery. The only reason people are willing to listen to Tommy is because he won games he defiantly has a lot of trouble getting his point across.
Makes people proud to have that communications degree from UNL doesn't it? :D

I've heard he's a douschebag from multiple people who have met him.....
so. Does everybody have to be loveable and snuggly? He was a great QB and I enjoyed watching him play. He may be a hardbutt, but that is what made him produce. I think he deserves some respect for what he accomplished. It's doesn't mean I want him to marry my daughter, come over for a BBQ. etc

Theres alot of people in life that get results that aren't the most likeable people. A lot of people dislike Saban, but he produces. A lot of people dislike Belichick, but he produces.

I'm surprised an individual who was one of the most instrumental parts of 60-3, something that will never be seen in college football again, isn't given a bit more benefit of doubt.

All the kid did was give everything he ever had for the team, university and state. I wasn't there but I assume as the QB and leader, he pulled a lot of guys up to play at his level, not theirs. As a result of that, we were the benefactors of one of the greatest, if not THE greatest football dynasties in college football history.

If oneday I met Tommie, and he came across as an ahole, fine, but I'll never forget what he did for Nebraska.

If u have not had the pleasure of meeting tommy consider yourself lucky. I grew up loving the man! Plain and simple he is the biggest pig ever! If you love the guy do yourself a favor and dont meet him!!!
