Anyone have recipes or methods to cook tongue. I had tacos with tongue meat and it was soooo tender. And the taste was great. Not sure how to cook it to make it that tender.
My suggestion would be a pressure cooker with veggie broth for liquid and spices or crockpot for a very long time with veggie broth and spices/flavorings, etc.
It's the real deal on the left coast with "authentic mexican restaurants" (meaning not a chain restaurant) more of the mom & pop variety.
Very tender meat kinda similar to veal.
Gonna talk with a buddy I used to work with; he's from Guadalajara and his dad cooks that and pesole and menudo(not for me). His mom makes killer tamales too.
