Tony Tuioti Hired as New DL Coach

Cal's defense has been extremely salty since Wilcox took over and you gotta think Tuioti has had something to do with that.  While their offense was terrible this year, they locked up some pretty good teams on defense.

Love what I an hearing about this guy so far and I agree it could help with the Hawaii or West coast connections. Lincoln is also a great place to raise a family with a much cheaper cost of living relative to W Coast. I think he and his family will enjoy their time in Nebraska.

 
He was part of a turned around Cal D.  Coaches a 3-4.  Cal finished 2018 ranked as the #15 D overall, number 2 in INT's, passing yards allowed #9 and rushing D #40.Red zone D tied for 117....Sacks tied for 48 and TFL tied for 65.

Granted he was part, not the whole, but looks pretty good on paper IMHO.  

A whole lot of win in this hire.
