Transfer Portal Targets 2022

Word is Corey Collier is likely visiting this weekend.  Was a high-four star safety from the Class of 2020 and had a Husker offer but has barely played at Florida.

Apparently has a prior relationship from Matt Rhule from when he was recruiting him to Baylor and we are making a push.  Extremely fast and athletic.  It seems that some other teams may be more interested in him as a receiver but really wants to play QB.  I feel like we've got enough projects at the QB position as the room sits now and we've been down this road with Luke McCaffery so personally I don't like it on the surface.  Unless we plan on going back to running the option.
Watched this kid play a few different times.  Was playing in a district that was horrible on a horrible team.  You could tell he was a different caliber of player.  Would probably be a nice Qb in Rhules offense.

Is the portal that bad this year?  It seems like we have very few offers to transfers & we have several spots to fill.

Most transfers don't play the game of reporting offers like HS recruits, so you never know who has been "offered".  Case in point was the ASU OL that was here over the weekend.  No one knew about it until he was spotted at the the basketball game.

Portal is still open for another month.  There will probably be a big influx of players entering after the bowl games as well.
