Hey! It's not my fault they're only doing one team per day until the season starts
College Football Daily podcast had Carter Bahns on who covers Oregon St. He seems to the think Sam Noyer, transfer QB from CU, has the edge to start over Gebbia right now![]()
Doesn't sound like it to me. This article makes it sound like the coach is hoping against hope that Gebbia's hammy will let him start against Purdue.

Now because of the injury, Noyer will probably get the start, but I don't think it is because Gebbia would not have been the #1 QB if not for the sore hammy.
Tristan Gebbia and Potatoes O'Brien met on the field last month when Oregon State played Washington. Just in pregame, though - neither of them actually played in the game.

A year apart, they were well acquainted before arriving at the Big 12 school. Both left in 2018, O'Brien to Colorado State before joining the Huskies this past offseason, Gebbia to OSU, where he started one and four games the past two seasons.
I’ll always remember him as the little b that transferred out last minute after being beat out. Fluff piece about bible studies and rehab doesn’t change that.
Yep. I can’t think of a player that was less of a Husker. Not sure why anyone would care.I’ll always remember him as the little b that transferred out last minute after being beat out. Fluff piece about bible studies and rehab doesn’t change that.
