Trump 2.0 - Foreign Policy

OK...if true, these countries are investing billions into the US.  Do we really want that?  What exactly are they investing in?  What will they be owning?  What will they expect in return?  What happens if they do something that makes us REALLY not want to be associated with them?

Just saying they are going to invest 500 billion, doesn't tell the whole story.

But, that's all our idiot and chief sees.
Our entire manufacturing base is built upon cheap Chinese goods. And our defense. I don’t think they care. I don’t think anyone cared previously either.

Trump is a retard. Horribly unneeded comment noted but lets not pretend like this is cut and dry. Murderous dictators are better for stability in the middle east than ISIS, Hamas, The Houthis, & or Al-Qaeda. From what I understand he does not have any affiliation with Al-Qaeda anymore post 2016. I hope we learn our lesson here between Iran and Syria and stop trying to play good guy. I actually think Syria's prospects of reaching both a "better" future economically and militarily are far improved with him in power than Assad. It seems he is open to the chances of forming alliances with the west. Above all I think meeting with him was a good thing to try and setup another ally in the Middle East. Time will tell.

And respectfully..The Krassenstein bros are not a reliable source of information. Not refering to this post in particular but yeah
I agree. Im pretty sure Biden recognized him as the Syrian leader when they overthrew Assad. Im good with lifting sanctions on them. Those people have been through enough.

Trump said 1.2 trillion. Their entire GDP is $200 billion…
The numbers these countries have thrown out are total BS.

f#&% Israel. We need to be done doing their war games.
I have said for a very long time that we blindly support Israel way more than we should.  We should be using our influence on them (our willingness to help them defend themselves) to force them to not do stupid s#!t that makes everyone around them hate them.  We should be more of an intermediary between them and the rest of the arab world.  If we threatened to pull our support for a$$h@!e Netanyahu, he would act very differently to their neighbors.

This is the kind of reasonable thinking that gets people labelled pro-Hammy and/or a Democrat promoting ridiculous far left extremism.

Former long lost American friend Osama Bin Laden (armed by the USA & killed by the USA). Gotta love American policy in the middle east.

Remember when there was a protracted war between Iran and Iraq for regional domination? And the U.S. funded both sides under the Hey, Knock Yourself Out! doctrine?
