Trump Legal Troubles

I sure don't know what this means other than a slap on the wrist - just to close out the case with some kind of sentencing.

The judge overseeing the criminal case against President-elect Donald Trump in his home state of New York has ordered him to appear before him on January 10 to be sentenced on the 34 felony counts he was convicted of last year.

In an 18-page ruling released on Friday, Acting Justice Juan Merchan said he would not sentence Trump to a term of incarceration but would instead impose “a sentence of unconditional discharge” – meaning a sentence of no jail time, probation or fines – as “the most viable solution” and permit Trump to continue to appeal the case.

Sentencing, which Trump’s lawyers tried to fight on the grounds of immunity, will occur just 10 days before the president-elect is inaugurated.

I am looking at the national archives website right now because Ive heard some rumblings that apparently 21 states never sent in their certificate of vote to the federal govt by the deadline of 12/25. Trump only has 100 some electoral votes based on the states that submitted their certificates of vote. Could be an administrative error, but if not, things can get interesting today, buckle up.

And they put up an extra layer of riot fencing last Friday…just sayin.

This is just the excuse Antifa is looking for!

I predict carnage.

i wonder what Eric Adams and Donald Trump are talking about today in their meeting.  they both have the power to pardon each other.

Literally everyone can see it but MAGA.
Sometimes you have to read past the headline.   One day hopefully

The Trump Organization sued Capital One bank in Florida for closing hundreds of the company's accounts after Jan. 6, 2021, riot at the U.S. Capitol

The Trump Organization sued Capital One in Florida on Friday for allegedly "unjustifiably" closing more than 300 of the company's bank accounts on the heels of the Jan. 6, 2021, riot at the U.S. Capitol by a mob of President Donald Trump's supporters.

call me a skeptic, but maybe the “staff writer” at the well known dailydoulder.com had a bit of an agenda when writing the headline and article?   Strike one for the week and it’s only Monday morning

Except I’m not defending the Trump Organization.   Letting you know the headline of Capital One dropping Trump org banking business because of money laundering sounds like bulls#!t considering the timing coincides with Jan 6th.

I made no judgements in my post about whether or not Cap One has a legitimate reason to drop Trump Org banking business or whether Trump Org is in the right.   I was letting you know your article is looking to be bulls#!t in its framing.   And you couldn’t even defend it yourself.   You just went to the standard “you’re defending Trump” bs.
