I really, really, really hope no one throws this back at me in a couple of years, but I’m going with “neither”.
My honest gut feeling is we have a Dem President in 2029 in charge of fixing a big mess and charged with attempting to repair any remnant of trust between the public and government.Nobody is throwing it back at you, since it’s not a prediction anyone wants to be right about. But that said what about in 2029?
None of these other jackwagons (including Musk) have anywhere near the charisma or pull to mesmerize GOP voters except Trump. He's the connective tissue tying this entire coalition of freaks together.Musk is popular among tech bros but not much else. He doesn't have 77 million people willing to vote for him (and then lie about it) like Trump.
If anyone is going to be a dictator, it'll be Trump, Vance, or Johnson.
It’s really uncanny. Anyone else that follows Trump will be just that, a follower. One of trumps stooges. Even if Trump anoints someone before he keels over, they won’t have the “messiah” charisma that Trump has for some reason.None of these other jackwagons (including Musk) have anywhere near the charisma or pull to mesmerize GOP voters except Trump. He's the connective tissue tying this entire coalition of freaks together.
Once he inevitably dies of some kind of medical event, the coalition will fracture irreparably even if they coalesce behind, say, Vance. He's a stiff, awkward weirdo who didn't even have the political deftness to not repeatedly step on rakes like the crazy cat lady saga even as a veep candidate with no actual record. At first glace he seems sellable enough, but apply even the smallest amount of scrutiny and he's just a garden variety theocratic a$$h@!e propped up by Peter Thiel.
Trump is the one who will try to be a dictator, even if it's obvious to everyone outside the cult he's a moronic figurehead. Once he keels over the Titanic hits the iceburg.
Is he wrong though? Maybe a tad hyperbolic. In all seriousness, there's a reason ive pleaded with Conservative voters to stop voting.
They don't understand the world around them, and the grift and takeover of the Republican Party was extremely obvious.
I will once again ask Republican posters to refrain from visiting a voting booth for the rest of your life. It's not a place you should visit, and that's an okay thing to realize.
I'm old enough to remember when Hillary having an email server was enough to get the mob to chant "Lock her up!" 10 years ago.Is he wrong though? Maybe a tad hyperbolic.
I’m old enough to remember when HRC had her own server at home and you all said “Cool” and nothing came of it.I'm old enough to remember when Hillary having an email server was enough to get the mob to chant "Lock her up!" 10 years ago.
Look, you can want to eliminate USAID. But instead of illegally allowing an unelected, unappointed, Oligarch illegally obtain and access government data and resources, they should do it legally.
If Republicans want it gone, go through Congress the legal way. Or at least end the fascade that your party cares about "law and order" and that they're breaking laws with impunity because Republicans are anti-democracy.
If by "you all said Cool" you mean the FBI conducted an investigation and a horde of morons voted for Trump costing her the election, then sure.I’m old enough to remember when HRC had her own server at home and you all said “Cool” and nothing came of it.
BTW….im of the opinion that if anyone associated with Trump admin is doing anything illegal, the courts should stop them.
forgive him for his dementia. If by "you all said Cool" you mean the FBI conducted an investigation and a horde of morons voted for Trump costing her the election, then sure.
You voted and support a Party that uses a career convicted felon to be the face of the Conservative movement (fittingly, I might ad). You elected America hating lawlessness despite being told how dumb it was, this is the inevitable consequence.
You can save the "courts will stop them, right?!" schtick for another time.
