Trump’s Accomplishments…at levels never seen before (2025 version)

0% chance he wrote that.
Yeah probably a Stephen Miller special. That creepy little ghoul.

That said, this is their official company line in the days after mass protest and the first successful political assassination here in a long time at the hands of a bats#!t MAGA lunatic.

That type of language just serves to stir the pot and encourage more crazies.

That said, as far as targeting political opponents specifically with his fascist BS, bring it on. I think cities are pissed off and ready to oppose him.

I thought CNN and the anti-Trump social media were being snarky and disingenuous about the parade, long sold as Trump's birthday parade when it was by genuine coincidence also the birthday of the U.S. Army, with a Flag Day Saturday as the perfectly logical day to honor its history. The U.S. Army deserved to have its moment without being thrown into the shadow of Trump. Sometime after the parade started it appeared that a directive had come from above (CNN admitted getting angry emails and texts from veterans) and the CNN reporters backed off a tick, making the parade more about the Army and less about Trump.

But man, watching that parade you have to wonder if the Army's heart was EVER into it. It looked and felt like a small town parade. Almost nothing put into production value. Little that had to be rehearsed. Bargain basement resources. Zero in the awe and intimidation department. A narrative right out of an elementary school filmstrip. The $50 million outlay was largely unseen, unless it was for the security that surrounded greater D.C. I wonder if anyone will seek out the Army personnel who were put in charge of the parade and find out how these decisions were made. Was this ALWAYS the Army's plan for June 14, 2025? The sight of one small, lonely tank slowly passing the review stand with a squeaky wheels kinda summed it up. Vastly preferable to going full North Korea, but an odd performance.

The day was not salvaged by President's Trump's soaring rhetoric:

"Time and again, America’s enemies have learned that if you threaten the American people, our soldiers are coming for you. Your defeat will be certain, your demise will be final, and your downfall will be total and complete. Because our soldiers never give up, never surrender, and never, ever quit. They fight, fight, fight, and they win, win, win."
