Trump's Post Election Fallout: Legal & Obstruction actions

The Corona tapes are pretty f#&%ed up. Urkain was f#&%ed up. Meeting with Putin alone was f#&%ed up.

This is probably worse than all of those combined; legally and consititutionally speaking

Per this article, potential lawsuits may but the alt right media jeanie back into the bottle.  With there exuberance to support Trump,  - Fox, Newsmax, OAN are in the cross hairs of some potentially very damaging law suits by Smartmatic and Dominion. Not to mention Trump's legal team including Powell, Rudy, and specific 'news' hosts.

Yet, Trump will escape due to presidential immunity - the sly fox using stooges who end up taking the brunt of his devious ways.

I will be shocked if they sue anyone

why not?   they have been slandered by trump and his far right allies
All there technology would be subject to discovery based on the allegations made to prove they are on the up and up, and they probably want to avoid giving out their trade secrets in court.  Keep info away from their competitors.

just their threat of a suit got fox to recant their accusations.   maybe it is enough...but i think they will actually go to court if they can make a fortune from a slander suit.   the deep pockets they would be suing would be enough for everyone in the company to retire comfortably.  damages alone would make the kid who smiled at the indian seem like a pauper by comparison....then add in slander and we are starting to talk about real money.   i may be wrong....but it is a gold mine if they are wiling to dig for it.

Could be.  I just don’t think they really want to go through discovery unless they really have to, in order to get people to stop

I’m very interested in how the Fox News sheep take the fact that this stuff is being broadcast on that network.  will it have any affect?

This guy:  https://whnt.com/news/falkville-man-had-multiple-guns-ammunition-and-gasoline-bombs-at-d-c-rally-police-say/amp/

I guess it doesn’t really say if they think he was also responsible for the pipe bomb.  They did find Molotov cocktails though.

Then you should do some research. At least six weapons were recovered from the riots that day according to D.C. police, and a cooler with a long gun + molotov cocktails was found inside the Capitol.

So you genuinely don't believe any of the things said at the pre-riot rally may have helped cause the riots and vandalism at the Capitol? Don't bring in any outside context of 'well other politicians say this or that' or 'well what about Dems who do this or that.' I'm asking about this specific situation and this specific circumstance.
"The Capitol" is a distinct building.  It does not refer to a parking garage or Washington DC in general.  The pipe bombs discussed were found outside the offices of both political parties.  That appears to be action of one inept terrorist.

Therefore you cannot use the word "coup" anymore to describe the mob.  You don't stage a coup by leaving your weapons in your vehicle and then storming into the seat of government with a flag pole.  In a coup you bring your weapons inside to bear on the officials.

"May have helped cause" is a no brainer since it's the lowest bar to step over. Rabble rousing being why people hate politicians. Every fiery speech in history contributed to whatever happened afterwards.
