I always thought Tuffy was a HuskerBoard member, probably one of the Mods/Admins, doing a caricature of a TIger fan.

Now that I have access to these handy-dandy Mod tools, I did some checking and it turns out Tuffy is from... Washington?

I gather from some posts that Tuffy started out somewhere else, and now posts here as well as several other forums. But I never would have guessed he posts from Gig Harbor, WA.

I'm guessing that's not accurate. I just checked my IP against the locator service, and it says that my IP is located in Santaquin, Utah. And here I sit in Arkansas.

Well, the mystery continues. Probably that's where his ISP connects to the webs?

"IP Locators" can be very iffy. There is really nothing that permanently ties an IP or a range of IP's to a physical location. Today it could read Utah, but if whoever owns that range gives it up and someone else takes it, it's instantly inaccurate..
