Turn Around - How long?

It will take much more than a new “magical” coach. Our fans who think it is that simple need to stop living in the past. Top recruits today have many better options. Unrealistic expectations only exasperate the problem.

I don't buy that, college football is highly emotional. With the right coach we could be back at 8 or 9 wins next year. Belief is a powerful thing.

That said, if we hire the wrong coach, this could go right off the cliff and be over.

It does.

I think Nebraska has the talent, they lack the mentality.  Honestly though, this team is playing so poorly it's hard to tell one way or the other.  

I do know one thing, we shouldn't be getting man-handled physically by Minnesota (or Northern Illinois, Oregon, Wisconsin, Ohio State, et al).

 
The Riley experiment buried us. It's going to take a minimum of 5 years to recover and in the back of my mind we may never recover from this one. Apathy has set in and we have lost everything we once stood for which took decades to build. 

 
I don’t think it will take long with the right coach and staff.  I believe our players know the current coaches aren’t going to win squat.  I think the kids will take to the new coaches because they will want to win.

Saban at Bama. Stoops at Oklahoma. Plenty of other examples. Year 2 is when you see the big jump. The faster Scott Frost is able to turn this roster over the better it will be. Need to get the #calibraska out of this roster. 

 
I don't care who the coach is next year, if they can win 8 games with our current squad heading into next years schedule, they are coach of the year.

 Sounds reasonable to run off a RFr and Fr QBs because they are from California.

 
Turn around? Every now and then I get a little bit nostalgic and the program isn’t turning around...

Turn around? Every now and then I get a little bit tired listening to the sound of my tears...

Turn around? Every now and then I get a little bit nervous our new hire will suck...

Turn around? Every now and then I get a little bit terrified that we’ll never get a trophy again...

Turn around? Scott Frost? Every year the program falls apart...Turn around? Scott Frost? Every now and then I have to get a new TV.

And we need relevancy tonight. And we need it more than ever. And if we’d only run the ball, we’d be relevant forever...

I dont think so, I think what we see is very similar to when Bo took over. We have talent. We have loads of talent, more than enough to win the BIG west. I wouldn't be suprised if Scott, or I mean, the right coach, wins the west in year 1, with a 9-3 or 10-4 type record. After that its just figuring out what the coach's ceiling is.
