How are there no option routes available for the recovers?   It’s like they are gonna run a certain route no matter what the defense is giving them.   It’s the 21st century.   Allow the recover 2 ways to go when near the goaline.  The coaching staff claims DR is the smartest player in the room and everyone else needs to catch up to him.   Let the WR make a choice

For years we blame the OC or DC but our HC has a headset and just stands there doing nothing.   At some point you would think we could hire an HC who will at least know the plays being called and could say" lets run something else"

UCLA is not a good team, but they want this game more.  That is also on coaching.  I still think we could win this, but that doesn't solve our problems as our program is still a middle/bottom feeder in the Big 10.

No one saw this coming.  I apologize to the fans who came out after being on the road for 2 weeks.  Guys didn't give up.  So proud of this team and their fight. They did some good things, but UCLA had the bye week and came in with a great plan.  Just need to work on the little things....

On that one, better to take the fair catch. Defender would've blown him up had he tried to return. But in general, yes you are correct that we need to be a threat to return.
